Working Hard In Second Grade!

Before commenting on each other's paper blog posts about Halloween, we needed to read them all.  

Then each child was given two Post It notes to write comments to 2 different writers.

Or course, they then wanted to write back to each other's comments-this got a little tricky but we persevered!

Mr. Marino stopped by to read and drop off a letter he wrote to us about one of his favorite books.  He will stop by again to read a different favorite book to us. 

We have begun to work on a special "Me in the Map" inspired activity.

We finished our read aloud of Charlotte's Web and made these beautiful spider webs.

Halloween week-super fun!

During Reading we read map books, answered questions and worked on skills packets with our partners.

 We made our own measuring tools in math.  

During You Skills we are learning about how to work "Brain In".

                                                   

                

And of course Halloween fun!!
