This blind sort really challenged the children to be able to explain the spelling rule.

Team Time-we read this great book on friendship. After, we partnered up with a friend from the other class to share supplies and create our own friendships pictures using a square, rectangle, circle and triangle all in the same classroom.
We even had some time to read with buddy!

Every Thursday we end the day with a free choice time-in nice weather we go outside. We are very fortunate to have two eighth graders who will be joining us!
We have started to read a chapter book. It was suggested by Mrs. Huestis. It had us hooked from the first sentence! We have been working hard in reading and writing to understand craft moves authors use. We could not get through the fist page without noticing how every sentence was masterfully written to engage the reader!
