February Fun

Mathematicians in action
Comparing a counting by 1 and a counting by 10 number line to see similarities and differences.

When adding several numbers, mathematicians look for efficient ways to combine the numbers.


Classroom challenge-can we find 19 different ways to make 5?


Kicking off learning about Mars Rover Perseverance with the help of Mr. Miller.
First we focused on our neighborhood




Then we learned about Earth's neighborhood and some fun facts about each planet in Earth's neighborhood. 



Now we are learning the basics about rockets.
