December Happenings in Grade 1

Publishing our Non fiction books!

After choosing 1 or 2 books, the children worked with a checklist to correct errors. Next we made covers and then partners videotaped each other reading their books in seesaw.  if you have not seen your child's yet please go to their seesaw account!  All of their writing was sent home Thursday in their yellow folders.

We read several books about holidays around the world and wrote about holidays we celebrate.

We also continued to discuss and learn about wants vs needs.

During math we are learning about penguins and will be measuring and comparing heights.
