We practiced building sentences with blank cards representing words.
This is building foundational skills for sentence dictation work.
We had a chance to hear 8th graders present their Dream School Projects to us.
We played a fun game called Number Rack Detectives.
Children were given a target number to build on their number racks.
They told their partners how many were on the top row.
Partners had to guess how many were on the bottom row without looking.
We also used unifix cubes to measure classroom items
We have one more week for our nursery rhyme unit
During sharing time we are practicing being active listeners and learning how to ask questions
We talked about zones of regulation and are learning strategies to help us when we are not in the green zone. We opened a peace corner in the classroom where kids can rest and reset.
