During the month of December we read books about holidays and celebrations around the world.
We completed our science unit on sound and light.
Our last activity was trying to make a shadow fall on different outlines.
We strengthened our place value skills with a game called Race to 100.
In word study we began to learn about the suffix s. It gets added the the end of a baseword.
It can make a word mean more then one or is added to the end of an action word.
Also it can make two different sound-/s/ or /z/.
We are learning about animals in winter.
