Fairy tales, poetry and more!

Our fairytale unit has been SO much fun!

We read the Ugly Duckling then made swans.

We read the Princess and the Pea then stacked mattresses on a pea.

We read Princess Pigtoria and the Pea and wrote about which version we liked better.

We read the Paper Bag Princess then wrote about character traits.

We read Little Read Riding Hood.  The next day we read Little Red Cowboy Hat and made our own cowboy hats.

We learned a few more types of poems then chose our favorites to publish.
Those were recorded into Seesaw.

Our ASL blocks had been devoted to our Whole School Morning Meeting.
We are back to learning and practicing ASL with Ms. Lisa.  This week we played a fun BINGO game.

We also watched a couple of fairy tales in ASL that Lisa interpreted for us.

Our last sharing is "Your Choice!"

3 D printed Dragon

Keychain collection

We created long number line game boards and played a fun math game.

We candled all of our eggs two times.
Out of the 7 there are four that seem to have embryos growing in them.
Expected Hatch Day is Monday.  Hopefully they will all successfully hatch!!

CVU students interested in theater got together several years ago and created a program called Story Sharks.  They take student writing and turn them into skits.  This year an opinion piece written by one of our classmates was chosen!

Happy kids!
