Last week every student completed their individual science experiments. Hope you enjoyed reading them as they came home!
Frogs!
One of our frogs grew four legs! We named him Four. The children were super excited!

Can you spot him sitting on the rock?
On Friday my daughters and I brought all the froglets back to our neighbor's pond. There natural habitat is really pretty!
And look what we found-could this be the kind of frogs we had in our room?!?! He was hard to catch and even harder to hold-we named him Rascal!
We worked on our last self portraits. All your child's self portraits are in the writing bags they brought home last Friday.

Designing our super cool shirts for our ferry boat ride!
Here's what has happened in our mini water cycle model-the water evaporated, formed condensation and water droplets fell as rain back into "Lake Champlain". Notice that the water droplets are clear. When water evaporates, it leaves behind dirt and other particles, in this case the food coloring.
