Our trip to Essex, NY was amazing! The Pecor family graciously donated the ferry ride to us and arranged for a special visitor to send us off! If you know them and see them, give them a thank you! Their address can be found in the school directory if you would like to send a thank you card-mine will be in the mail tomorrow!
Over the past two years, I have been saving their published writing workshop stories to present to them at the end of second grade. They were very proud to see for themselves how much they have grown as writers and readers!
It has been an honor and very rewarding to be part of your lives the past two years. Thank you for all your support along the way. Just as I tell kids they can always come back to visit-moms and dads are welcome as well! Have a wonderful summer and Happy Father's Day to all you dads!
