Fire Safety Day
We learned the difference between toys tools. We talked about the importance of having a family safety plan. Ask your child what it means if a firefighter sees a pillow in the yard when they come to a house. And of course we reviewed how to call for help-911.
When firefighters are all geared up, they look and sound different and could be scary. We practiced calling a firefighter towards us so we would learn to not be afraid.
If you have any embers on your clothing "Stop, Drop and Roll" always protecting your face.
Every student got a chance to crawl through the smoke house.
And last but not least Halloween fun!
