This week we continued our measurement unit.
We learned:
1 foot= 12 inches
1 yard = 3 feet
1 yard = 36 inches
In science we learned that materials can be mixed, Sometimes the mixtures can be separated, sometimes they cannot.
We applied our understanding of properties of materials to design hats like engineers.
In poetry we explored using repetition
And creating a "mood" with precise word choice
The Fourth Graders led our January Whole School Morning Meeting-they did a great job!
We finished reading The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane.
The children drew pictures and captured what they think the message of this book is...
